Branded products, protective gloves and work clothes produced in Prevent Safety, in the heart of the industrial zone in Vitkovici near Gorazde, since recently are travelling to new European markets. Due to the high demand of new customers in Germany, Serbia and Macedonia, production capacities are increased by 30%, while the increase in traffic for about 40% is expected in this year.
Director of Prevent Safety, Nedzad Pita, said that these results are not accidental, because the brand that last from seventies of last century, is still regarded as the only line production of gloves in Europe, and competition have never reached the design and special commercial packages with bar codes of Prevent.
“Our products are the reflection of the professionalism, enthusiasm and commitment to what we do are recognizable in almost all countries of Europe“ added Pita.
Initially, Prevent Safety was exporting protective gloves to customers in Slovenia, but as time passes, this unique domestic brand positioned itself at the market of the complete EU. Today, the whole process is carried in Gorazde, from the procurement of raw materials to the distribution to the market, and the use the most modern technologies for the production of protective equipment.
Prevent Safety today employs more than 100 workers. In this year, capacities in the sewing room, number of people and the production were increased. Increase in the gloves production follows. Process itself is demanding, as confirmed by the long-time master Jusuf Risljanin, but the quality is unquestionable, because Prevent‘s gloves are recognizable at the market for 35 years.
“More than 4.000 pairs of gloves are produced daily in a single shift, and our capacities at the year’s level are more than 1.5 million pairs of gloves. Additional increase of capacities follows, which is the result of new markets and customers. Our biggest market is Germany and we are exporting lot of products there“, said Sead Hubjer, Head of Sales.
