Price levels increased by 1,8 Percent on Annual Level in BiH

In October 2018, on average, price level increase of 0,9%, was recorded. By divisions of COICOP classification in October 2018 compared to previous month, price index increased by 0,9%.

According to BiH Agency for Statistics, igher prices in divisions of Clothing and footwear, Housing and utilities, Transport, Education and Other goods and services.

By divisions of COICOP classification, in October of 2018 as compared to the previous month, the price index increased in divisions of Clothing and footwear by 2,7%, Housing and utilities by 5,4%, Transport by 1,1%, and Education and Other goods and services by 0,4%. .

Lower prices in divisions of Food and non- alcoholic beverages, Alcoholic drinks and Tobacco, Furniture and furnishing, Communications and Recreation and Culture.

By divisions of COICOP classification in October 2018 compared to previous month, the price index decreased in divisions of Food and non-alcoholic drinks by 0,3%, Alcoholic drinks and Tobacco, Furniture and furnishing and Communications by 0,1% and Recreation and Culture by 0,4%.

On an annual level, on average, price levels increased by 1,8%.

The price level in October 2018 as compared to the same month of the previous year increased by 1,8%.

The average increase of prices was recorded in divisions of Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 0,1%, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 5,9%, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 3,8%, Health by 2,4%, Transport by 12,7%, Recreation and Culture by 1,1%, Education by 0,5% and Restaurants and hotels by 0,5%.

The decrease of prices on average was recorded in divisions of Clothing and footwear by 10,4%, Furniture and furnishing by 1,5%, Communications by 0,4% and Other goods and services by 0,9%.
