Prices in February in BiH increased by 0.3 %

1000_1475574582kupovina-supermarketPrices of products and services used for personal consumption in BiH in February, measured by the CPI, were increased by 0.3 % in comparison to January.

Prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks were increased on average by 1.1 %, clothing, footwear, and healthcare by 0.1 % and transport by 0.4 %, as stated from the Agency for Statistics.

Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, housing and utility bills, and communication were decreased by 0.1 %, furniture and household appliances by 0.3 %, and other goods and services by 0.6 %.

The price level in February compared to the same month last year was increased by 1.2 %.

The average increase of prices by 0.2 % was recorded in food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 4.1 %, housing and utility bills by 1 %, healthcare by 0.3 %, education by 0.7 %, transport by 9.5 %, recreation and culture by 1.1 %, and restaurants and hotels, and other goods and services by 0.3 %.

An average decrease of prices in February compared to the same month last year were recorded in clothing and footwear by 9 %, and furniture, household appliances and household maintenance by 1.5 %.
