Production of car upholstery for the third generation of ”Škoda Octavia” started in the production halls of ”Prevent” in Zenica.

At this location textile and leather car upholstery for ”Octavia” is being made, which had its world press presentation in Portugal last week.

”Currently we’re producing 120 sets of upholstery a day, and we plan to increase the production to 400 sets a day”, said the manager of Prevent in Zenica Sulejman Topalović.

New ”Octavia” will come to BiH market in May.

In 2012 ”Octavia” had 43% of total sales of Škoda’s models in BiH and it’s the leader in its class with more than 26% participation in that segment.

”New ”Octavia” should sell even better, considering that it is considered the best so far. In 2013, ”Octavia” was the biggest sale of Škoda in both global and BiH market”, said marketing manager of Škoda BiH Senad Trnka.

New ”Octavia” is bigger than all its predecessors, and it’s the best in its class with volume of the trunk of 590 litres, said the ASA Group.
