3The beginning of the production of devices to maintain optimum conditions for indoor air in closed spaces, “ClimaRad”, which will be in full production in BiH, is expected in June or July of this year.

According to Portal Indikator.ba, this device was named the innovation of the year in 2003 and 2004 in air conditioning, and production was established in the Sarajevo-based newly formed company “ClimaRad”, which is the joint owner with the Dutch “ClimaRad Holding” and the Sarajevo “EGW”.

The system is developed based on the highest level of technological knowledge, and its application can monitor and maintain temperature and humidity, and the required amount of oxygen in it. This is achieved with the least possible loss of thermal energy.

The production of this device of the company “ClimaRad” involves the cooperation of many subcontractors from the country and neighboring ones that specialize in certain parts of this complex technological endeavor. Thus, production of this unit would contribute to linking producers in the country and in neighboring ones, and the entire project can be presented as a successful transfer of high technology in BiH.

It is expected that cooperation of “ClimaRad” with scientific and technical institutions in the country and the region would contribute to the development of additional devices. The government of the Netherlands supports this project with 50 percent of the stimulus in the initial investment that amounts to 1,5 million euros.
