Products of the AS Group exported to the Markets of 26 Countries

AS Group Export abcmagazin.infoIsmar Alagic, the Director of the TRA Development Agency of the Tešanj Municipality accompanied by Ole Hammer, the political representative of the Delegation of the European Union in B&H visited the group of companies AS group from Tesanj. The guests were hosted by Armin Hrvić, the member of the management of the group and the CEO of OAZA Company, who also presented the historical development and the achieved results of the AS group in the previous period, with special emphasis on implemented investments and positioning of the company as a leader in the fields of division of the food industry, textile and trade.

During 2015, with approximately 3.000 employees, the AS group is one of the largest business systems in B&H. Products from the AS group are being exported to the markets of 26 different countries in the world. Especially emphasized is the export to the market of the United States, noting that it is being intensively worked on the branding of the new domestic products. “The TRA Development Agency of the Tešanj Municipality cooperates with the companies from the AS Group through a number of projects, among which we specially emphasize the participation of the company OAZA within the project “Competitiveness of Business Excellence Area” (COBEAR), implemented by the TRA Agency in partnership with the Municipality Teslic, Development Agency of Zepce (RAZ), and the Businessmen Association Business-Center Jelah-Tešanj, with the support of the European Union”, said Alagic.

According to him, an Analysis was recently developed and the development of the action plans and recommendations for 30 export-oriented micro, small and medium-sized areas from the BEAR area (Tesanj, Teslic, Zepce), and offered a framework of future cooperation with the company OAZA as well. The interventions offered through the Analysis have been suggested for the comany OAZA, who is the leader in the production of mineral water, with accentuated international reputation in quality with the slogan that “the best mineral water in the world comes from Tesanj and B&H”.
