The police officers of the Zenica-Doboj Canton received praise for their professional and efficient security of the match between the national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, which passed without a single incident.

It is precisely the security aspect of this major sporting event that is highlighted in the foreground, considering that during and after the meeting no mishaps were recorded, nor cases of endangering the safety of fans, participants and guests. The authorities assessed that it was an example of a superbly organized event.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Emir Vračo, arranged a reception for the members of the Staff for coordinating and directing the activities of police officers, which was in charge of operational, physical, traffic and KDZ security of the match.

The reception was also attended by the Police Commissioner of the Police Administration of the MUP, ZDK Admir Gazić, and during the meeting all police officers who participated in securing this international event were especially praised.

Minister Vračo congratulated the police officers and Commissioner Gazić on an exceptionally well done job, stressing that their work contributed to the smooth running of the match and a safe atmosphere.

The Ministry announced that the highest security measures were taken to ensure the complete protection of citizens and fans, as well as the unhindered progress of the match in the spirit of fair and correct cheering.

Police Commissioner Gazić pointed out that the successful realization of this event confirms the high level of professionalism, training and coordination of the police forces, as well as their readiness to respond to the most complex security challenges.

The match in Zenica, apart from its sporting importance and the great victory of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, will also be remembered for its impeccable organization and security, which additionally contributed to the positive image of this event.
