TAGThe Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD) started the implementation of the project ‘TAG: Mentoring, Women, Leadership’, whose goal is to form a technical advisory group for the support of women in politics with educational workshops and practical work, announced CPCD.

During the weekend, the first training on the political system in B&H was held, and in the next two months participants will be briefed in detail on all aspects of running a successful political campaign and gender equality.

This unique project will for the first time in B&H provide an opportunity to a group of 40 women to gain basic knowledge and skills that would enable them to provide quality support to female political candidates, and to participate actively in the political life of B&H, and to motivate women in their local communities to take part in political life.

In addition to the specially conceived training from the area of political marketing, relations with media, the use of modern technology and a number of other relevant areas, TAG group will have the chance to develop new knowledge in discussions with special guests who have vast life experience in leading a political campaign.

In cooperation with female political leaders of various political views, female candidates in the upcoming elections, members of TAG group will become familiar with the challenges that women in B&H politics face.

Project TAG, supported by the US Embassy in B&H, promotes mentoring and female solidarity.
