Implementation of Project of Information System ‘E-Council’

e-vijece naslovnaAs part of the implementation of the information system ‘E-Council’, a presentation was held yesterday for managers and employees of the municipal center of a new information system that would serve municipal officials in future correspondence with the municipal council.

Representatives of the Department of Informatics and Information Zlatko Voljevica, Assistant to the Head and Samir Širić, Associate for Information technology are implementing this project, and they spoke of the new system, which is intended for councilors and members of the committee of the municipal council.

Those who attended the presentation became familiar with the procedure of digitization and conversion of documents in universal PDF format, which would be available to councilors at every place where there is Internet connection, and how to use the application ‘E-Council’.

‘’The new information system will increase efficiency, transparency, communication and application of modern technologies and reduce the cost of printing materials for Council sessions, as well as its distribution’’, said Zlatko Voljevica.

He added that the implementation of such a complex information-organizational system was divided into several stages.

‘’So far, we have shared the procured necessary information equipment with the councilors-laptops, and councilors are trained to use the new information system. Our service also created our own application software for conducting Council sessions’’, said Voljevica.
