In the premises of the Faculty of Philosophy in Pale, a promotion of a book ”Discrimination- one term, many faces” was held with the aim of raising awareness about the fight against discrimination and the introduction of this faculty into these activities. The coordinator of this project is Predrag Govedarica.

”Although we had a lot of problems in the actual realization of the project, we achieved to finish all activities concerning the publication”- said Govedarica.

The awarded student from the Department of Journalism, Mladen Lakić evaluated that the media partly reproduce discrimination in the society, and that by reporting in accordance with the ethical standards of journalistic profession can make a huge contribution to the fight against discrimination.

At the promotion, which was organized by the Student organization from the Faculty of Philosophy East Sarajevo and the Sarajevo Open Center, the Dean for science research at the Faculty of Philosophy in Pale, Goran Mutabdžija, as well as co-contributors of this publication, Zlatiborks Popov-Momčinović and Saša Gavrić, the executive director of the Sarajevo Open Center talked in front of the guests at this promotion.

Within this project, whose sponsor is the Open Society of B&H Fund, five panel discussions were held on the themes of discrimination of citizens as political subjects, the gender dimensions of discrimination, the discrimination in education with the emphasis on the inclusive type of education,  religion in schools and media discrimination.
