The acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office proposed to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo that the suspects Adna Mesihović (ZNG), Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office, and Ibrahim Obhođaš, a ZNG officer, be placed in custody for one month, the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office announced.

Detention was proposed due to the risk of influencing witnesses, concealing evidence, obstructing the criminal investigation and the risk of repeating the criminal offense.

Prohibiting measures were proposed for the suspect Dženita Viteškić, namely a ban on performing the duties of an assistant at the Cantonal Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Youth and a ban on meeting with witnesses.

The suspects are charged with abuse of office.
