The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office has proposed to the Sarajevo Cantonal Court to order a one-month detention for Feđa Avdić, Arabela Avdić, Branislav Papić, Alija Glavinić, Aldijan Dajidžić and Zlata Mujkić, arrested in the ‘Ata’ operation.

They are suspected of the criminal offense of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses in connection with the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, incitement to prostitution and illegal possession of weapons and explosives.

Detention was proposed for them due to the risk that the suspects, if released, could influence witnesses, conceal evidence and due to the risk of repeating the criminal offense.

Feđa Avdić is suspected of having organized and led a group whose members included other suspects who had clearly divided roles and tasks from December 2024 to early April 2025. For Avdić, they procured, transported, hid and sold cocaine and heroin in the Sarajevo Canton area. The money from the sales was handed over to him by his daughter Arabela Avdić, while Branislav Papić kept it for Avdić. For these criminal acts, the suspect Papić used the official car of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.

For one gram of cocaine, they earned around 200 KM, and for heroin, 70 KM. The same group that Avdić organized is also suspected of inducing prostitution. Therefore, on the orders of Avdić, it is suspected that they encouraged and lured several girls to unknown men to provide sexual services.

As part of the “Ata” operation, which was carried out on the order and under the supervision of the acting prosecutor, searches were carried out at 13 locations in the Sarajevo Canton area. Around 80,000 KM was found and seized. One and a half kilograms of cocaine with a market value of 160,000 KM. Heroin, ecstasy and speed, an expensive car, weapons, scales for precise weighing and crushers were found.

Operation ‘Ata’ and the arrests were preceded by months of investigation and special investigative actions by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration and with the support of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the prosecutor’s office announced.
