In front of the National Museum in Sarajevo, large protests started, the seventh in a row, started after a serious tram accident in which 23-year-old Erdoan Morankic was killed and a 17-year-old girl was seriously injured. After the gathering, the protest participants headed towards the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office.

Today’s protest rally is a continuation of protests that were held consecutively for six days in the previous period, with a clear message that the fight for the safety of citizens and the responsibility of institutions will not stop.

At the protests held on February 18, concrete demands were also presented, which are still highlighted on the van, on which a photo of the deceased Erdoan Morankić, as well as pictures of the tram after the accident, were pasted.

Several hundred citizens arrived at Marijin dvor, where they paid their respects to the victims in front of the SCC, and then headed towards Skenderija.
