The police officer of the Public Security Sector of Doboj Doboj Sanela Bešlagić, who took part in the Peace Mission of the UN in Liberia, was named to the position of commander of the contingent in this peace mission.
Bešlagić was on a UN Peace Mission to Liberia from April 2011 and was the first woman from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS (MUPRS) to be engaged in a peace mission.
There are currently 18 members of the MUPRS (3 women) in Liberia, South Sudan and Cyprus as part of the UN Peace Missions.
