Public Lecture “Srebrenica – Mapping Genocide and Post-Genocide Society”

received_1142033239180964After Oxford, Belgrade and Zagreb, the public lecture “Srebrenica – Mapping Genocide and Post-Genocide Society – the Perspective from 2016 in the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
The public lecture will be held within the project “School of Knowledge”, aimed at the transformation of education about the war, genocide and urban/civil/cultural resistance into one universal education model through a unique platform for the transfer of knowledge. This great project is signed by the Creative Productions FAMA, Gallery 11/07/95 Methodology and the Association “Kultura sjećanja”.

The event will be held at the Meeting Point cinema on Thursday, March 31, starting from 7 p.m.

Stjepan Mesić, the last president of the presidency of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, will be one of the participants at this public lecture. Apart from Mesić, other participants include the professor of security at the University of Sarajevo Dr. Edina Bećirević, a journalist, diplomat and publicist Zlatko Dizdarević, the retired General of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jovan Divjak, and the social-political analyst Dr. Svjetlana Nedimović. Ines Tanović will be the moderator of the public lecture.
