The Race for the Golden Boot: At which place is Edin Dzeko?

edin_dzeko_asromaCaptain of BH national football team Edin Dzeko is in the fourth place in the race for the top scorer of Europe and in the fight for the Golden Boot.

Our striker scored 15 goals this season and thus won 30 points in the battle for this prestigious award.

Leading position belongs to Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has scored 17 goals so far and won 34 points.

The runner-up is Edinson Cavani from PSG, who scored five goals more than Aubameyang, but the French league has a lower coefficient, so he has a total of 33 points.

In the third place are five players. Among them is the winner of last season award and Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, who has 16 goals this season on his account (32 points).

The same number of goals scored his colleagues from the Catalan team Lionel Messi, as well as Bas Dost (Sporting), Romelu Lukaku (Everton) and Dries Mertens (Napoli).

Side by side with our Dzeko are Robert Lewandowski (Bayern), Andrea Belotti (Turin), Anthony Modeste (Koln), Gonzalo Higuain (Juventus), Diego Costa (Chelsea), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United), Mauro Icardi (Inter) and Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal). All of them scored, as well as our Diamond, a total of 15 goals.

It is interesting that the current best player in the world Cristiano Ronaldo is in the eighth position. Mourinho scored 13 goals this season.
