Israeli forces raided several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and Palestinian homes. The US military has announced that it has completed the construction of a temporary floating dock off the coast of the Gaza Strip to provide essential aid to the blockaded enclave.
The Israeli army carried out raids in Nablus, Tulkarem, Tubas, Qalqilya, Jericho, Bethlehem, Ramallah and Al-Bireh, the official Palestinian TV reported. Israeli forces also raided Arrab, Kafr Ra’i, Silat al-Dhahr and Fahma in Jenin.
“Today around 7:40 a.m. local time, United States Central Command (US) Central Command personnel supporting a humanitarian mission to deliver additional humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians in distress anchored a temporary dock on a beach in Gaza,” Central Command said on the X social network.
“The United Nations (UN) will receive aid and coordinate its distribution in Gaza,” the US military said.
Food and other supplies are failing to arrive as Israel recently seized the key Rafah border crossing and attacked the southern Gaza town on the Egyptian border.
Tensions have been rising across the West Bank since Israel launched a deadly military offensive on the Gaza Strip following a Hamas attack on October 7 last year. An interim ruling in January ordered Tel Aviv to halt the genocidal acts and take measures to ensure humanitarian aid to Gaza’s civilians, AA writes.
