Railway again in Function in Zavidovici?

PRUGAYesterday, representatives of the International Organization “The Balkan Club of Peace” visited the Municipality of Zavidovici, where they met with the Chief Minister Hašim Mujanovic. During the meeting, the representatives discussed the project related to the development of tourism of this and the neighboring municipalities.

The project involves using the railroad that is not being used for many years and would be of a great importance for tourism development Zavidovici, as well as for the municipalities Olovo, Žepče, Han-Pijesak, Rogatica and Žepa.

“Railroad used to be in operation some years ago and we are certain that it should be put in usage again, because by doing so, there would be a great step towards the development of tourism, especially because the railroad passes through the beautiful mountains”, said Osmo Vatreš, the Secretary General of “The Balkan club of Peace”.

Chief Mujanovic confirmed that funds for implementation of this project are ready and that the next step is the formation of a commission to visit the field and determine the tasks of the first phase.
