The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has supported the efforts of the Communications Regulatory Agency (RAK) of Bosnia and Herzegovina to monitor the global development of technology.
RAK announced that the support that RAK BiH achieves through cooperation with ITU is particularly significant, thanks to which it gains access to modern tools and knowledge for digital transformation, application of artificial intelligence, development of digital public services and improvement of cyber security at the highest international level.
During the meeting of the general director of RAK BiH, Draško Milinović, with the general secretary of the ITU, Dorina Bogdan-Martin, long-term cooperation and partnership were emphasized.
The meeting was held in the Žentokom forum of the World Summit for the Information Society and the Global Summit Artificial Intelligence for Welfare.
The summit gathered more than 17,000 participants from all over the world, and the participation of RAK representatives at this meeting once again confirmed that international cooperation, exchange of experiences and connection with leading experts are key to the successful application of new digital technologies and active involvement in the global digital transformation that shapes the future of society and economy.
“We are grateful to Dorin Bogdan-Martin and her team that we were once again at the center of global technological developments,” said Milinović.
Representatives of the CRA BiH held a series of bilateral meetings, among other things, with the delegations of Serbia, Montenegro, Estonia, Turkey and Georgia, and the UN residential coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
