Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Bosnia and Herzegovina organized yesterday in Sarajevo a reception on the occasion of the Chinese New Year of the Monkey.
Welcoming the guests from political, cultural and public life in B&H, as well as the diplomatic core in B&H, the Ambassador of China to B&H Chen Bo said that the spring holiday the Chinese New Year is also the most important holiday of the Chinese people.
Given that this is the Year of the Monkey, who symbolizes wisdom and vitality, Ambassador Bo wished that the peoples of B&H and China wisely face with various challenges on the path of development, cooperate side by side, achieve joint victories and bring new vitality into the development of the two countries.
Chairman of the Presidency og B&H Dragan Čović, as the guest of honor at the reception, on behalf of the Presidency of B&H and the people of B&H congratulated the New Year to the Chinese people and said that the friendship of B&H and the recent visit to China have opened just a small door to see what the cultural heritage of China really is and what is it that makes Chinese people a great nation with exceptional tradition.
