Acting Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States to B&H Albert Rob Pyott spoke at today’s opening ceremony marking the completion of reconstruction of “Prva osnovna škola” in Srebrenica.
United States European Command, through Office of Defense Cooperation of the U.S. Embassy Sarajevo, invested over 300,000 dollars in renovation of this school.
The project included installing a new energy-efficient façade, replacing the roof and floor of the gym as well as stabilizing one of the gym walls, installing new rain gutters throughout the building, updating and repairing the central heating system, and replacing flooring in parts of the school.
