160928058-4_xlWorks on the reconstruction of water supply network at the section from the Skenderija Bridge to Drvenija Bridge are in progress. Temporary water supply network for surrounding settlements has been built.

So far, works have been executed at the 170-meter long section.

“Given the complexity of the location where works are being executed and that it is one of the main city roads, works are being conducted in stages and today we put into operation 43 meters of pipeline at the section from Drvenija Bridge to the Latin Bridge,” said Nezir Hadžić, Director of the Cantonal Public Utility Enterprise Water and Sewerage Network Sarajevo.

Reconstruction of water supply network at the section from Skenderija to the City Hall is financed by the Sarajevo Canton, with funds provided from reimbursements for water supply, in cooperation with the Ministry of Utility Economy and Infrastructure.

Works on this demanding project are being executed according to the plans. The entire project has been divided into two stages – first stage being from the Drvenija Bridge to the City Hall and the second stage from Skenderija to the Drvenija Bridge.
