The Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) collected a total of 680 million BAM in the month of August, which is 66 million BAM more than the same month last year.

During the eight months of this year, the ITA collected a total of 4 billion and 589 million BAM, which is by 321 million BAM or 7.53 % more in comparison to the same period last year.

A total of 499 million BAM has been allocated for financing state institutions. The FBiH received 2 billion and 80 million BAM, and Republika Srpska got a billion and 57 million BAM, while the District Brcko received a total of 115 million BAM, as announced from the ITA.

The increase in indirect tax revenues covered the increase of rates in the external debt war in 2017 so that entities sill probably receive more money than they did last year from indirect taxes directly to their accounts by the end of the year.

On the basis of a special toll for the construction of motorways (0.10 BAM), in the period from January 1 to August 31, the FBiH received additional 70 million BAM, Republika Srpska received 46 million BAM and Brcko District received a total of 2,3 million BAM. The difference represents a reserve on a special toll account in the amount of 0.10 BAM.
