Red Bull Paper WingsThis Saturday, the Railway station in Sarajevo was a proving ground for throwing paper airplanes. After qualifications in Tuzla, Banja Luka, Bihac and Mostar, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina got the most successful paper airplane pilots who will represent our country at the Word final of the Red Bull Paper Wings, that will be held in Salzburg in May this year.

Qualifications at the Railway station Sarajevo started at 1.00 p.m., and more than 50 amateur pilots signed up. Veteran in the discipline “the longest distance“, Almir Kisic, the World champion from 2012, was the most successful and threw his paper plane 34.65 meters.

Winner in the third discipline “the longest retention time of the plane in air“ was also veteran of the Red Bull Paper Wings BH final from 2009, Dino Gledo, who succeeded to keep his plane in the air for 10.39 seconds.

After Sarajevo qualifications, BH final started, at which some new young forces joined Sarajevo veterans. Given that they competed for the title of the best BH paper airplane pilot and representing BiH on the World final, pilots were carefully preparing their paper planes and trained hard. At the end of the day winners were: Ivan Franjic, Benjamin Hidzic and one of veterans Adis Imamovic.
