The exhibition “Concrete Utopia: Architecture in Yugoslavia 1948-1980” was officially opened in the Museum of Modern Art in New York on July 15, and it will be opened until January 13, 2019.

The exhibition is divided into separate units: Modernization, Global Networks and Everyday Life and Identities.

The topics of large urbanization, technology and its experiments and their application in our everyday life, consumerism, monumental culture and the global impact of Yugoslav architecture are discussed through these units.

Besides photographs of buildings, drawings and models, there are also three video installations of Mila Turajlic from Belgrade as well as works of contemporary artists Jasmina Cibic from Ljubljana and David Maljkovic from Rijeka.
