A red warning was issued today for the regions of Prijedor and Mostar due to high air temperature, while an orange warning is in effect in other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Meteoalarm announced.
In the Prijedor region, the warning is in effect from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., when the maximum air temperature will be from 36 to 40 degrees Celsius.
For the Mostar region, a warning has been issued for the period from noon to 5:00 p.m., when the maximum air temperature will be around 42 degrees Celsius.
For the Banja Luka region, a warning has been issued for the period from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., when the maximum air temperature will be from 35 to 39 degrees Celsius.
In the Visegrad region, the warning is valid for the period from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., when the maximum air temperature will be from 35 to 39 degrees Celsius.
For the Foča region, a warning has been issued for the period from 12:00 to 18:00, when the maximum air temperature will be from 35 to 38 degrees Celsius.
In the Trebinje region, the warning is in effect from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., when the maximum air temperature will be 35 to 38 degrees Celsius.
For the region of Sarajevo, Tuzla and Livna, a warning has been issued for the period from 12:00 to 17:00, when the maximum temperature will be around 36 degrees Celsius.
