Reduction in Number of Unemployed People in the FBiH

mladi_studenti_100512The number of unemployed people in the FBiH under the age of 30 and who have completed high school or faculty has decreased by 1.805 in April in comparison to January.

Bearing in mind the current economic trends and problems in the labor market, these results could be directly connected with the program of the Federal Employment Institute “Strengthening Competitiveness in the Labor Market-First Work Experience”, whose realization began in December 2012 and which was intended for young people without work experience, announced this institution.

For this program, which is being realized in cooperation with cantonal employment services, the Federal Institute for Employment ensured financial funds in the amount of 4.554.000 KM, based on which the co-financing of professional training for 1.000 unemployed people was enabled and now they will get the opportunity to have a first job experience.

Given that one of the biggest obstacles for young people in the market is the lack of experience and insufficient training to work in a certain profession, the Federal Institute for Employment plans to realize a similar program as part of its measures of active employment policy measures for 2013.
