Shortly before 6:30 p.m., the region of Herzegovina was hit by an earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale.
According to data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the 4.2 magnitude earthquake was 14 kilometers northwest of Ljubuški.
The earthquake was particularly felt in the area of Mostar, Čitluk, Čapljina, Grud, Posušje, Široki Brijeg, Ljubuški, Makarska and Ploče.
