Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said yesterday that in the next 72 hours he will address the public and clearly state the demands and measures against the attacks on Serbs in the north of Kosovo.
After a meeting with the special representative of the European Union (EU) for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajcak, and the United States (U.S.) ambassador, Christopher Hill, he said that the proposed measures and demands will be “serious”.
Vucic announced that during October he will present a plan and measures regarding Kosovo to the Serbian Parliament.
“I am ready for a dialogue, I am ready to go talk to Kurti, to have a dialogue in Brussels. But I will not allow the pogrom and persecution of my population and it is quite clear that this is the only goal of Kurti’s government,” said Vucic.
He pointed out that he had “two-hour conversations, separate and combined” with Lajcak and Hill.
“It is to be expected that during October we will present far-reaching and very important proposals to the National Assembly, we will have many important meetings, we must fight for Serbia’s position in the world, look for allies,” said the Serbian president.
