Renovation of Baščaršija Square to be finished by December?

works2Works on the sewage and rain collector are completed on the Baščaršija Square, and works on individual connections from the Kazandziluk Street to Sebilj are currently in progress, as confirmed from the company “Neimari”, which is the contractor.

They emphasized that plumbing installations were tested and put into operation on the section from Bravadziluk Street to Kazandziluk Street.

“The next step in this part is layering of the tampon layer and concrete block,” explained from the company.

PT tubes (plastic tubes through which the cables are installed), were set up on the section from Kazandziluk Street to Bravadziluk Street as well, and works on the electro tubes and sumps are in process.

Works on the renovation of Baščaršija Square began on the 2nd of September, and completion of the works is planned in December.

The works in the amount of 1.2 million BAM are financed by the Municipality of Gazi Osman from Turkey and Municipality Stari Grad in equal proportions.
