Representatives of the Embassy of Qatar to BiH played a friendly match with pupils of “Avdo Smajlovic“ elementary school from Sarajevo.

“It is our pleasure to be able to mark the national holiday ‘Sport Day’ this way, which is marked on a second Tuesday in February. We used this opportunity to hand sports equipment which I hope will improve conditions for pupils in this school,” said Ambassador of Qatar to BiH Sultan bin Ali Al-Khater.

The principal of the school Hasim Bazdar extended his gratitude, adding that pupils develop skills faster through sport and that this donated equipment will definitely be very useful.

Pupils thanked employees of the Embassy, who gifted them T-shirts, hats and flags of Qatar, Federal News Agency reports.
