The Board of Directors of the Compensation Fund of Republika Srpska approved 7,257,600 BAM without VAT, or 8,491,392 BAM including VAT, for the purchase of 160,000 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 for vaccination of 80,000 people.

The session accepted the information on the need to provide financial resources for the procurement of additional quantities of vaccines for the implementation of the vaccination process against Covid-19 in RS, and the RS Institute of Public Health is in charge of procurement of vaccines.

The Board of Directors of the RS Compensation Fund was informed about the need for additional funds for the procurement of tests for the detection of anti-SARS-CoV-A antibodies (IgM and IgG).

“Funds in the total amount of 300,000 BAM are included, including VAT, for the purchase of tests for proving anti-SARS-CoV-A antibodies – IgM and IgG,” the RS Government announced.

In addition, a payment in the total amount of up to 6,000,000 BAM was approved for the needs of co-financing capital investments in agricultural production, for the purpose of financial assistance to producers and processors for remediation of the consequences caused by coronavirus.

“Payment will be made on the basis of individual decisions made for each business entity and individual by the Agency for Agrarian Payments in accordance with the Ordinance on the conditions and manner of realization of financial incentives for capital investments in agricultural production issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management” , they said in a statement.

The payment of 168,079 BAM for the purpose of financial assistance for repairing the consequences caused by the coronavirus on the basis of used tourist vouchers in the period from February 1 to 28 this year for 31 business entities was also approved.

The proposal of the Decree on the allocation of funds for the remediation of the consequences of the coronavirus virus pandemic for March 2021 has been determined, which will be submitted to the RS Government for consideration and adoption.

“The decree regulates the users of funds, the conditions for the allocation of funds, as well as other issues of importance for exercising the right to the allocation of funds for the remediation of the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic for March.

“The proposed regulation arose from the need to help economic entities and other legal entities that could not perform their registered activity in March 2021 for more than five days, in order to remedy the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic on their business, “they said in a statement, BHRT writes.
