A meeting was held in Banja Luka today, where it was concluded that the Republika Srpska, as announced by the Cabinet of the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is forming the Border Police in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and its Annex 2.

A Working Group was also formed, which held its first meeting today on the subject of drafting laws that will regulate the work of the Border Police on the territory of the Republika Srpska. The legal framework on which the Working Group is working will, as announced, be exclusively in accordance with the Dayton Agreement and its Annex 2.

On this occasion, a closed session of the Government of the Republika Srpska will be held in the afternoon, which will also consider other issues of the overall political and security situation in the Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The session will be attended by the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Chairperson of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, as announced by the Cabinet of the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik.
