The Mountain Rescue Service – Station Sarajevo, together with the Civil Protection rescue unit, carried out a demanding rescue operation late last night in the Bukovik area, at the locality known as Seven Springs.

The Municipality of Centar received a report about an injured person in the evening hours, after which an emergency rescue team was immediately dispatched to the field.

Despite operating on inaccessible terrain, in darkness and rain, rescuers quickly reached the location, provided first aid to the injured person, and safely transported them to the nearest point accessible to an ambulance. The injured individual was then handed over to emergency medical services for further treatment.

The Operational Center of Civil Protection of the Municipality of Centar was informed about the course and outcome of the action.
