Residents are leaving Food for Wild Animals to survive Cold Winter

Hunters from “Vidosi”, engaged in feeding wild animals in the hunting area, all in order to help wildlife to survive extremely cold and snowy winter.

President of “Vidosi” section, Ivica Seremet says that especially endangered are animals which eat plants, and that it is difficult for them to find food under a thick snow cover.

“We leave wheat, corn and salt for deer. The wolves, who are doing the most damage at this time, are not compromised. These are predators with a large radius of movement, and they and other carnivores need no help in finding the food, they find it for himself, “said Sheremet.

On the other hand, during the winter and due to lack of food, deer lose weight and thus become easier for predators, especially wolves to catch them.
