Residents of New Zealand welcomed the New Year

Residents of almost all of New Zealand welcomed the new year 2025.

The New Year in New Zealand began at noon Central European Time.

In addition to New Zealand, the New Year was welcomed at the same time in Tokelau, Samoa, Tonga, parts of Antarctica and the Phoenix Islands.
