As a part of the promotional activities of “Manga, Hokusai, Manga” exhibition, which is currently open at the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Embassy of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with Center for Culture and Youth, is organizing the workshop and lecture on manga, which will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the premises of the Center for Culture and Youth (Jelića 1, Sarajevo) and in online format, starting at 13:00h.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn interesting details from the world of Japanese manga and attend a lecture by the excellent artist and president of the Manga Association of Japan, Machiko Satonaka, who will speak live from Japan via video link.

The artistic director of the school, Majo Pavlović, will moderate the workshop and provide the participants with valuable tips and instructions for drawing in the manga style. Also, the event will be interactive and interested visitors will be able to try manga drawing.
