Heavy rainfall has once again caused problems for residents of the Sarajevo neighborhood of Širokača, who have long feared a landslide above their homes.
According to locals, civil protection regularly visits the area and submits reports on the situation on the ground.
However, locals point out that the authorities have not taken any concrete steps to solve this problem for a year.
“They are just confusing us with some projects, tenders, and they are not doing anything. Believe it or not, we will definitely not be able to sleep tonight, because you never know what will happen, whether it will start or not, and it will start at some point,” says Ibro Pekić, a resident of the MZ Širokača.
