Revenue of “Agrojapre” is More than 1.8 Billion KM

The agricultural cooperative “Agrojapre” from Donji Agić near Novi Grad achieved in the previous year revenue of 1.859.502 KM or 20 percent more in relation to the year before that.

Submitting a report on the work of “Agrojapre” at the regular assembly, its Director Milovan Antonić said that 881.893 liters of milk were bought from members of “Agrojapre”.

“Members of cooperatives generated a revenue of 618.000 KM based on milk delivered to the dairy farm in Kozarska Dubica”, said Antonić at the meeting.

He said that last year the cooperative placed on the domestic market final products worth 260.611 KM, and that along with the existing production program, launched a range of new products-different types of bread and pastries, buckwheat, and homemade cookies.

Antonić added that, thanks to the support of the resource Ministry, the bakery “Vodenica” began its work last year.

108.720 KM were invested in development, from which 93.810 KM were allocated for bakery equipment and for water supply substation 14.910 KM.

The Director of the Norweigan Project “Jaren Produktutviklin” Dragi Žujo pointed out that, of the 10 cooperatives in BiH that is supported by the government of Norway, the best results were from “Agrojapre”.

“The cooperative had and has a strategy and vision and all individual goals that were planned were fulfilled”, said Žujo.

Bearing in mind that Antonić acquired conditions for retirement, at today’s session the new director of the cooperative was named, Nada Nešković-Rajlić, agronomy engineer employed by the Cooperative since 2004.

The agricultural cooperative “Agrojapre” was founded in 2000 and has expanded its activities to 23 Grmeč villages. It employs 30 people and has a membership of 225 households.

The first working year of “Agrojapre” ended with the cooperative property of 11.000 KM, and until today its worth has increased 136 times and amounts to 1.492.295 KM.
