Rich program for marking the 6th April, Day of Sarajevo

Sarajevo-viewCity of Sarajevo will mark its Day- the 6th April, and on that day, there will be a solemn session of City council and Sixth April Awards will be given on that occasion. Winners of this year’s awards are BIH football player Edin Džeko and SOS Children’s village BIH, reports FENA.

Association of Artists of BIH will organise the exhibition on the Day of Sarajevo on 5 April in Collegium Artisticum, and Centre for Photography Sarajevo and City of Zagreb will organise an exhibition called ‘Streets of Zagreb’ on 4 April in Art Gallery BIH.

Also, the exhibition Konya-Sarajevo will be opened on 5 April and the organiser of the exhibition is Konya-Sarajevo Cultural and Educational Centre, and this exhibition will be opened until 10 April, said to FENA City Council of Sarajevo.

Also, from 4 to 8 April there will be the third ‘Sarajevo International Guitar Festival’, and KUD ‘Proleter’ will organise in Bosnian Cultural Centre on 5 April the concert called ‘To Sarajevo with Love’.

Day of Sarajevo will be marked by numerous sports events such as, International Basketball Tournament, Primary School Chess Tournament, Swimming meeting ‘Sarajevo, my love’, and Sixth April Memorial Tournament ‘Vinko Šamarlić’ and ‘Josip Katalinski’.
