fondacijaOffice of the foundation ‘Friedrich-Ebert’ in Sarajevo, on the occasion of the 1 May is organising a round table called: ‘We want better working conditions and respecting workers’ rights!’.

The foundation said that the round table will be held on Monday 29 April in Sarajevo hotel Bosnia at 11 a.m.

The aim of the round table is to emphasise the importance of workers’ struggle, on problems that the young people face in trying to find a job in BiH and on the need to solve those issues.

Apart from that, the aim is to promote young unionists from the entire BiH and to call on young workers to join them in the struggle for workers’ rights.

Friedrich-Ebert Foundation, in cooperation with the Youth Section of The Alliance of the Independent Unions of BIH and Youth Association of RS Union Alliance, is organising a Trade Union school so that the young activists could meet with the history of the Trade Union, collective negotiating, work legislature in BiH, and social dialogue and other themes important for the stronger trade union engagement.
