koelgijCollegium of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska requested from the Government of Republika Srpska to forward to the assembly procedure the Draft law on amendments to the Law on Holidays of RS, with the aim of implementing the decision by the Constitutional Court of BiH on the Day of Republika Srpska.

At the same time, the Collegium determined that the implementation of the decision by the Constitutional Court of BiH in this case is in progress and that the National Assembly received the decision by the Constitutional Court on temporary suspension measure for the republican referendum.

President of the National Assembly Nedeljko Čubrilović emphasized that the decision by the Constitutional Court on the Day of RS is currently being implemented, which is pointed to by the very fact that this judiciary institution discussed the request by the National Assembly for reconsideration of this Court’s decision on the Day of RS couple days ago.

Čubrilović stated that the Collegium adopted the orientation working plan of the National Assembly of RS for the period until the end of 2016 which foresees at least five assembly sessions by the end of the year, in order to timely adopt the republican budget, the document of Economic Policy, and a series of planned laws.
