RS exported the most to Italy, and imported from Serbia

The foreign trade deficit of the Republika Srpska (RS) in the period from January to October 2017 amounted 1 billion and 140.5 million BAM, shows data of the Entity Statistical Office.
The volume of trade of this BiH entity with foreign assets amounted to 6 billion and 844 million BAM.

The export was realized in the amount of 2 billion and 852 million BAM, which is 21.9 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
In the same period, import amounted to 3.992 billion and 992 million BAM, which is 12.2 percent more compared to the same period of the previous year, while the export import coverage was 71.4 percent.

In the period from January to October 2017, according to statisticians, in terms of the geographical distribution of goods trade of the RS with foreign countries, the most exports were to Italy, amounting to 446 million BAM or 15.6 percent, and to Croatia 379 million BAM, or 13.3 percent of total exports.

At the same time, most imports were from Serbia, in amount of 701 million BAM or 17.6 percent, and from Russia, amounting to 508 million BAM, which is 12.7 percent of total imports, Fena reported.
