RS Government: 48 Million BAM Debt for the Healthcare System

The Government of the Republika Srpska today made a decision to accept the RS’s debt to the World Bank – International Bank for Reconstruction and Development under the project to improve health systems in the amount of up to 48,060,000 euros.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality and financial sustainability of the health care system in the Republika Srpska, the Public Relations Office of the Government of the Republika Srpska announced.

The loan funds are intended to improve the efficiency and quality of health care, more efficient management of investments in the health sector, and improve the financial sustainability of the health system.

They are also intended for the procurement of funds and equipment, construction works on the rehabilitation and reconstruction of health institution facilities, and the implementation of institutional reforms with the aim of improving the quality of health care and the financial sustainability of the health care system, and project management.
