RS Government made a decision on the establishment of the Public Institution “RS Waters”, and determined its finance, management bodies and operation of this institution in Bijeljina.

This decision is in accordance with the economic policy of RS for 2013, which postulates the merging of the Water Agency for Sava River and Water Agency for Trebišnjica River into the public institution ”RS Waters” which would take over the responsibilities of these agencies.

Law on Amendments to the Law on the RS administration, which came into force on 1 January, abolished both Water Agency for Sava River and Water Agency for Trebišnjica River.
