The Government of the entity Republika Srpska is terminating cooperation with the diplomats of the United States of America and Great Britain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, citing their “anti-Dayton activities” as the reason.

The information on the termination of cooperation was adopted in the continuation of the 13th session of the RS government.

In the statement, it is said, among other things, that “Republika Srpska has been forced to end cooperation with diplomats from the embassies of the United States and the United Kingdom”.

The RS government requests that entity institutions and representatives of the RS in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as local self-government bodies and other public authorities in the RS, act in the same manner.

The government of the RS called for the suspension of cooperation “until the embassies of the United States of America and Great Britain stop the practice of interfering in the internal affairs of BiH”.

“The government of Republika Srpska will inform the competent institutions of the US and the UK about the termination of cooperation with the embassies of the said countries because of their anti-Dayton activities and violations of international law, the Charter of the United Nations and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

The RS government will submit the Information and the conclusion on the termination of cooperation with the US and British diplomats in BiH due to anti-Dayton activities to the National Assembly of Republika Srpska,” the statement reads.
