The draft law on amendments to the Law on Salaries of Employees in the Field of Culture of the Republika Srpska stipulates that the basic net salary will be around 1,915 BAM, while the current one is 1,850 BAM.

The Minister of Finance of the Republika Srpska, Zora Vidović, emphasized that the amendments to the Law on Salaries are another measure of the Government of the Republika Srpska that contribute to economic growth and an increase in workers’ salaries.

“This has completely harmonized the salary coefficients of employees with a university degree in the field of education and culture of the Republika Srpska with employees with a university degree in administrative bodies, who have a salary coefficient lower than the salary coefficient of the fifth salary group defined by the Law on Salaries of Employees in Administrative Bodies,” said Vidović, explaining the legal provisions.

She stated that the goal of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Salaries of Employees in Primary and Secondary Schools and Student Dormitories in the Republika Srpska is to improve the living conditions of employees.

The goal of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Salaries of Employees in the Field of Higher Education and Student Standard of the Republika Srpska is to improve the material position of workers.

The coefficients were also increased in the net amount of 60 BAM for management positions, or 93 BAM for two assistant directors of student centers, taking into account the complexity and scope of the work they perform.
