andrićgradRS is more and more desirable tourist destination, and this is confirmed by the statistics.

In the first six months compared to the same period last year, the number of visits increased by 4.9%, while the number of overnight stays increased by 4.2%.

Trebinje marks the record regarding to the tourists visits and in hotels is almost impossible to find a free room. Since Croatia entered the EU, it seems that RS will profit, even indirectly, since Croatia has introduced visas for Russians, Turkish and Ukrainian tourists.

“We have 30% more overnights for the first six months of this year compared to the last year”, pointed out Tatajana Bulajić, Director of Tourist Organization of Trebinje.

Višegrad is daily visited by 2.000 tourists, and this season there have been exceeded all the expectations.

“We have almost twice in number guests compared to the same period last year”, said Branislav Andrić from the Tourist Organization of Višegrad.

Director of Tourist Organization RS Nada Jovanović stressed that they have organized arrivals over Mokre Gore, with Ciro to Višegrad

“Andrićgrad became a distinctive destination with all the offers and the city itself is more of Stone Town”, said Jovanović.

In the past 20 years Banja Vrućica has record number of overnights.

“The tourists would have been more, but most are faced with objective issues, such as road infrastructure, lack of adequate air traffic, the lack of highways which greatly hampered the arrival of foreign tourists”, said Alexander Radosević from Banja Vrućica.

Those who want to get away from the city noise and high temperatures Jahorina is definitely the right choice.

Those who love mountain hiking the excursion to Zelengora with its natural beauty is certainly great.

If you have not decided yet where to spend holidays, RS has a lot of interesting offers, and also through the holidays you will discover the country, try good wines, and enjoy the traditional cuisine.
