PDP party President Branislav Borenovic said that after a meeting with BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that our country had imposed sanctions on Russia.

He says that it is clear who is telling the truth and who is deceiving the public.

“After President Vucic and European Union officials, the President of Russia himself, speaking in his statement about the difficulties in relations with BiH, confirmed BiH’s accession to sanctions against Russia and there is really no room for different interpretations. It is clear who is telling the truth and who he persistently deceives the public, “Borenovic said.

Borenovic points out that this is not a fact that makes him happy, but he says that it is clear that Bosnia and Herzegovina has joined the sanctions.

“The most important thing for us is to get off the radar of big, big geopolitical clashes as much as possible and to dedicate ourselves exclusively to internal strengthening of the economy, employment and raising living standards. And that is why the expediency of Dodik’s foreign policy through Turkey to Russia and unnecessarily dragging Republika Srpska into the context of major global problems, “he said.

Despite certain present-day difficulties, related to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s support of anti-Russian sanctions, bilateral relations will keep developing, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at Friday’s meeting with Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, TASS writes.

“Regretfully, in present-day circumstances we are having certain difficulties with Bosnia and Herzegovina, related to its decision to join [anti-Russian] sanctions,” the Russian leader said. “But despite all difficulties, relations continue, and they will develop.”

The president added that Moscow was informed about Dodik’s stance on anti-Russian sanctions and valued it.
