Russia’s Ministry of Defense has published data on foreign mercenaries who have been fighting on the side of Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion of that country.

According to their data, Bosnia and Herzegovina is in sixth place with 167 fighters who arrived in Ukraine on February 24. They claim that Russian forces killed 51, that 40 of them left the battlefield, and that 70 citizens are still fighting on the Ukrainian side.

It is difficult to talk about the accuracy of this information, since there are no official data on possible BiH mercenaries in the Ukrainian army.

This was also confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, which states that the data of the Russian Ministry of Defense are one-sided, and that BiH the institutions do not have any information to confirm these allegations.
